PIC Organises the Pune Release of the book: ‘Securing India the Modi Way’

Pune, 30th November 2017: Pune International Centre (PIC) is organising a Pune Release of the Book ‘Securing India the Modi Way’, authored by eminent Journalist and National Security Analyst Nitin Gokhale on Friday, 1st December, 3:30 PM at the Mini Auditorium, College of Engineering Pune (CoEP), Shivajinagar.
General. Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff of India and Air Marshal S. B. Deo, Vice-Chief of Air Staff will also be present on this occasion along with other dignitaries and members of PICThe program will be chaired by Air Chief Marshal P. V. Naik.
In Securing India the Modi way – Pathankot, Surgical strikes and More, Nitin Gokhale provides an intimate and sweeping account of Team Narendra Modi‘s approach to national security and foreign policy initiatives.
Drawing on internal memos, classified information, meeting notes and hundreds of hours of interviews with key players in the national security team, the book brings alive inside stories ofdecision-making at the highest levels in the government.
Unknown details of the planning and execution of the surgical strikes and other aspects such as New Delhi’s policy towards China and Pakistan, India’s renewed global policy focus on Middle East, cyber space and rebooting the defence sector have also been handled with great depth in this book.
